Hannah’s Family Center (Previously Hannah’s House), is a visitation, safe exchange, and family therapy center providing services to families involved in Family Court. They provide a safe and welcoming place for children caught in the middle of custody disputes. Hannah’s needed a website re-design, as well as new branding and visual identity. I worked as lead designer on their home page, logo, and subsequent brand guidelines booklet.
As the target audience for this project was children and their parents, my solution was to design with both kids and adults in mind. The site and branding is fun, bright, and colorful, but modern, easy to navigate and clean. I chose a child like, round sans serif font with a primary color palette. Shapes and a playful theme fully communicate the focus of young children. These design changes have helped users more easily find the programs they need.
