I Love A Clean San Diego (ILACSD) leads and inspires the San Diego community to actively conserve and enhance the environment. It has worked to improve the health and beauty of San Diego for over 60 years. I was tasked with prototyping a concept design for a possible future home page.

Since I previously designed a child site for their annual Creek to Bay cleanup event, I wanted to keep styling consistency with colors and font choices. I felt the large marker font gives a personalized feeling of “pitching in”, community and fun. The cool tone color choice and blue palette communicates more of a focus on ocean cleanup, where a lot of ILACSD efforts are pointed towards. The hero features parallax imagery of relevant garbage floating in the sea. The goal is to urge viewers our environment is in need of help, donations, and volunteer work.
